Description of the workplace

Our research focuses on the role of extracellular signaling in cell fate determination during development and disease. The group, led by Dr. Sandeep Gopal, is located at the Biomedical Center in Lund. The research group is part of the Lund Stem Cell Center and the Department of Experimental Medical Sciences. Work duties and areas of responsibility

Prepare materials for the project. Perform experiments in the lab. Compile, analyze and present data from the experiment.

Qualifications

Requirements for employment are:

PhD in biomedicine or similar, or equivalent knowledge acquired in Sweden or abroad. Excellent oral and written skills in English. Good publication history and a strong background in extracellular biology, stem cells and cancer are meritorious. Previous experience in Glycomics, ChIP and cell membrane analysis is required.

 Additional qualifications for the position are:

Experience with EMT and proteoglycans
