The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University was founded in 1994. It has approximately 50 employees from more than 15 countries. Job description

The work involves assisting ongoing research addressing behavioural and psychological determinants of climate investments, and the adoption of climate mitigation technologies and its links to subjective wellbeing. The position involves supporting the researchers with literature reviews, data collection, interviews, and the preparation of scientific reports. The work also includes active involvement in project meetings, support for project management, and assistance with research communication. The position further includes collaboration with the various stakeholders and organisations involved in research activities. Tasks may also include assisting with the organisation of events.

Main work responsibilities

  • Collect and summarise previous research.
  • Review and analyse scientific and policy documents.
  • Support data collection and related analyses.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Assist in project management and communication.

Requirement for the position

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Psychology, Environmental Policy, or Sustainability Science.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive literature reviews and interviews.
  • Proven ability in scientific writing.
  • Proficiency in academic/professional English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently.

 

Other merits

  • Knowledge of or experience with research addressing pro-environmental behaviours, climate-friendly investments, and subjective wellbeing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary research environments.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and other European languages (e.g. German, French).
  • Other skills and knowledge relevant to the assignment (e.g. project management, statistical analysis, databases, software, social media).
  • Consideration will also be given to how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department, and how they stand to contribute to its future development.

Terms of employment

Fixed-term position for 8 months, starting as soon as possible.
