Description of the workplace
Health Economics at Lund University is ranked as the foremost research environment within its field in Scandinavia and 9th in Europe.
The Health Economic Research Unit at the Medical Faculty is headed by Professor Ulf Gerdtham and conducts research primarily within five fields: 1) Economics of public health; 2) Health care organisation and incentives; 3) Efficiency of health care systems; 4) Economic evaluations of health interventions and programmes; 5) Socioeconomic-related inequalities in health and well-being. The research team contributes to both theoretical and empirical research and uses surveyand register-data from regional, national, and international databases, as well as experiments.

Work duties and areas of responsibility
We are seeking an Assistant Researcher to carry out qualitative and quantitative health economic analyses of how work environment factors influence labour market participation among individuals with congenital disabilities, as well as to conduct register‑based analyses of pregnancy outcomes among individuals with congenital disabilities.
