Description of the workplace
At the division of Microbiology, Immunology and Glycobiology, Department of Laboratory Medicine, Professor Marianne Jansson heads a research team with the focus on HIV-1 and HIV-2 host interaction studies. By combining in vitro infection models with in vivo observations, and the use of both molecular and cellular virology methodologies the team seeks to understand pathogenic properties of HIV-1 and HIV-2, with the aim to identify novel targets for prevention and treatment. You can read more about the research on our website. We are now looking for a driven and experienced assistant researcher in medical microbiology to support the different research projects.
