MultiPark is a strategic research area at Lund University. We are currently seeking a committed and responsible Research Engineer to assist us as Platform Manager for a research infrastructure called ‘Brain Circuit Analysis (BCA)’. In this position your main task will be to act as the operational manager of a laboratory for in vivo brain recordings from rodents based on microelectrode or neuropixel probes, as well as optical miniscope technology. You may take part in the initial data collection as well as required preprocessing steps required for further data analysis. You may also assist in the collection of behavioral data in conjunction with neurophysiological recordings. In your role as platform manager, you will introduce and guide new users, and attend to the maintenance and well-functioning of the equipment, In summary, you will have quite an important role in introducing and supporting researchers at MultiPark to state-of-the-art in vivo neurophysiological techniques and help expand the experimental toolbox for studies focused on brain circuit analysis and neuronal dynamics in health and disease.

Preferred qualifications:
The position is a 50%, fixed-term employment for one year, starting no earlier than October 1, 2026, or by agreement. Top-ranked candidates will be invited to an interview at Lund University approximately 2–3 weeks before the final decision is made.
