Administrative project assistant
Work assignment The successful applicant will have a background in epidemiology, medicine, public health, and regulatory affairs (in relation to type 2 diabetes). Ability to undertake statistical analyses using SAS, STATA or R (or other programming-based statistics software) and strong writing skills in English are essential. The successful applicant will work directly under the supervision of Prof. Paul Franks. The work undertaken will contribute to peer-reviewed publications. The work will focus on the analysis and interpretation of existing data accessible to the GAME Unit, such as the GLACIER Study, VIKING Study, DIRECT Study, RHAPSODY Study, and UK Biobank; analyses will focus on lifestyle, pharmacotherapies and biomarkers in complex disease.
