Tasks
Manual alignment of accelerator and beamline components.
Adjustment of geodetic networks.
Measurements using laser trackers, measuring arms, vibrometers, accelerometers, seismometers, and various optical tools.
Analysis of measurement data.
Participation in mechanical design reviews.
Preparing alignment files based on CAD model data.
Optionally, development work in mechanical stability.

Qualifications
Master of Science (or equivalent) in engineering or physics and proven teamwork and communication skills.
The successful candidate must be interested in manual work and practical problem solving, but also in learning and investigating new areas with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Knowledge or experience related to precision alignment, mechanical design, statistical analysis, adjustment of geodetic networks and/or metrology is an asset. So is experience with synchrotron equipment and/or one or several of the measurement instruments mentioned above.
