Maintenance Coordinator Beamlines - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

This is a position as project engineer within the Beamline Office of MAX IV. The Beamline Office supports the built-up of new research instruments and handles technical questions as well as (project-)administration for now 16 different beamlines.

The main focus of this position relates to setting up structures and routines for maintenance work on beamlines and relevant infrastructure systems. This includes support beamlines in maintenance planning, setting up inventories and follow-ups as well as to ensure communication of beamline maintenance needs and procedures to technical functions at MAX IV. Within near future it also includes implementing a new software system to support and document the abovementioned work.

Qualifications

You must therefore be an experienced Engineer with a university degree (Master of Science) in relevant field with several years of experience with industrial grade maintenance and continuous improvement work of complex systems. You must have experience of doing this work in a synchrotron environment. You should have relevant knowledge of the infrastructure systems in question, these involve water cooling, liquid nitrogen, electricity, vacuum and Machine Protection Systems .

You must have good general technical understanding. You are fully proficient in English, both written and spoken. Basic Swedish is a merit. You are comfortable with talking to people. You have documented very good documentation skills and have demonstrated experience in collecting and compiling information in a structured way, e.g. lists of equipment.
