Software Engineer 2 year temporary position (2 openings) - Under tillsättning eller tillsatt, ej sökbar

As part of the Scientific and Information Management team you will be in a unique position to help the scientific community collect research data, make data available to researchers world-wide and make an impact on how information is managed within the research environment. Our team has a broad skill set and considerable opportunity to learn and grow, both as a professional and an individual.

We are looking for self-starters with a passion for learning new technologies. In your new role you will work with projects to make research data easily accessible. You will also take part in the other activities of the team that includes development and maintenance of web tools, representing the team in various forums internally and externally and assisting various MAX IV departments with their IT needs. Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related education
• A few years of experience as a professional full stack developer
• Experience with relational/NoSQL databases and sql
• Experience with Linux
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English

Desirable:

• Experience in Nodejs, Javascript, ES6, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Experience in GraphQL, REST
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, git, Continuous Integration, Agile
• Experience in automated web testing

This is a temporary position for two years.

We are looking for two persons to fill the openings.

First round of interviews (by video) are planned to mid November. The second round will take place at MAX IV in Lund, in the beginning of January 2020.
