Your team
The accelerators at the MAX IV facility are the core systems for production of the synchrotron radiation. There are two storage rings and one linear accelerator. The largest of these accelerators – the 3 GeV electron storage ring – is the first in the world to employ a multi-bend-achromat magnetic lattice to deliver ultrahigh-brightness synchrotron radiation. In order to maintain its competitive edge MAX IV has initiated a conceptual design study of an upgrade to its 3 GeV ring – MAX 4-U – aiming at 3-5 times increase in performance.
Would you like to work at one of the brightest light sources in the world?
MAX IV is looking for an internationally recognized expert in electron storage-ring beam dynamics and lattice design who will propose and analyze several candidate low-emittance lattices.
