Summer worker Beamline Office Labs

Your role
As a summer worker in the Beamline office, your primary role will be to organise and structure an instrument database for our Bio, chem, and SEDS laboratories. You will catalog all available instruments to ensure an efficient booking system for our staff and users.

Your main tasks will be:

• Review and catalog all bookable instruments in Bio, Chem, and SEDS labs
• Organise instrument data to integrate into the lab booking system
• Ensure all instruments are systematically recorded with accurate details
• Collaborate with lab staff to gather relevant information on each instrument
  
  

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant university program (e.g., life sciences, chemistry, engineering, or related fields)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment
• Proficiency in using Spreadsheet software, e.g., Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc etc. 
  
  

As a person you are organised and take initiative, and enjoy being 'hands-on'. You must be a minimum of 18 years old and fluent in English to apply to this position.
