Description of workplace
Student employee will be located at the Division of Molecular Hematology and Immunology, ILM, Faculty of Medicine, LU. Student employee will be responsible for purchasing within labs of Consiglio (6h total/ week), Böiers (2h total/ week) and Gribonika (2h total/ week), all part of the Division of Molecular Hematology and Immunology. Student employee will also be responsible for laboratory operations in Consiglio lab. The Division of Molecular Hematology and Immunology is committed to creating a respectful, supportive, and stimulating workplace environment. Work duties and areas of responsibility
As a student employee, your job duties may vary, but they should always be clearly related to your studies. 
The job duties in this position include: 

  • You will be in charge of ordering of laboratory reagents and products
  • You will be in charge of lab organization, such as inventory, chemical safety, among others
  • Support in laboratory environment 

Eligibility
To be eligible for employment as a student employee, you must be enrolled in full-time studies at university level in Sweden, have completed approved studies equivalent to at least 60 higher education credits, and not have commenced PhD-studies.

Qualifications
Requirements for the position are that you:

  • are currently enrolled in a full-time master's degree program in biomedical science or an equivalent program deemed relevant by the employer
  • have very good written and spoken English skills
  • have a degree in biomedical science
  • have the necessary personal qualities, such as independence and the ability to work in a team

Further information
The employment is a temporary position with start from 2025.09.22 or according to agreement  until 2026.01.18 on 25% scope. You work according to a fixed schedule to be determined in agreement between you and the employer.
Provisions regarding employment as a student employee are found in the Agreement for Student Employees.
