 At the Department of Clinical Genetics and within the research team led by Thoas Fioretos, you are now looking for a postdoctoral doctor who will work with integrative genomic analyzes, with the aim of being able to use these to improve clinical diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of patients who are suffering from leukemia. These studies also make it possible to discover new genetic changes that are important for the occurrence of leukemia and to find so-called targets for the development of new drugs, which places great demands on advanced mathematical / bioinformatic analyzes.

Duties
Work tasks include advanced bioinformatic analysis and mathematical modeling of data amounts obtained after integrative genomic analysis. The employees will work in a team of researchers with both bioinformatic and molecular genetic skills, and have particular responsibility for mathematical modeling.

Qualifications
To be up to date for the service, you need the following:
  • Be a PhD in mathematics with a focus on bioinformatics
  • Have previous experience of mathematical modeling and bioinformatic analyzes of large genomic data sets.
  • We regard it as particularly valuable if you have experience in analyzing genomic data from blood cancer.
In addition to this, we are looking for you who can take your own initiative, have a good ability to work independently but at the same time can work in a team. You also need to be able to speak and write in English unhindered.
