The Department of Translational Cancer Research seeks a deputy researcher who will work within a project whose primary focus is on information about the function of a tumor suppressor gene called NLK in cancer cells that are grown and treated in laboratory bottles. The part you will now work with within the subject is to investigate the function of NLK in vivo using NLK knocked mice.
Work duties
One will work to induce lung cancer in mice. Making genotypic mice biopsies using PCR. Isolate tumor cells, blood cells and lung from mice as well as fix and cut tissues. But will work with the Westerblot and qPCR methods.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone that holds a PhD within the medical field, preferebly with a focus on lung cancer. We would also like to see that you have experience in working with mice, and the primary induction of lung cancer in mice individuals as well as isolation of tumor cells and blood cells.

In addition to this, we see the fact that you have good knowledge of speech and writing in English as a merit. We are looking for you who can work independently but who can also work together with a smaller working group in the lab.
