The tasks include:

- Establishment and characterization of organoid culture systems

- Evaluation the use of biomaterials in 3D cultures

- Comparing the 3D organoid systems with already established in vivo models for cell

differentiaon, maturation, function.

Qualifikations

To qualify for the position the candidate should have a phd in biotechnology, bioengineering, stem cell

biology or developmental neurobiology

Experience with in vitro and in vivo models at phd and postgraduate level

Documented experience with work on pluripotent stem cells

Experience with generation and use of viral vectors

Documented experience with gene expression analysis

Ability to work well in collaborative projects

Meritorious

Experience from single cell sequencing

Work with stereotactic surgery

Microscopy and Histology

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for an employment as a postdoctoral researcher, the PhD degree or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a PhD in the field of employment, must be completed no more than three years before the end of the application period. If there are special reasons, the PhD may have been completed earlier.

Terms

The employment is limited to a maximum of two years employment and refers to full-time. The employment is limited by agreement, "Agreement on time-limited employment as postdoctor", between social partners dated 2008-09-04 (Arbetsgivarverket, OFRs, Saco-S and SEKO).

The Faculty of Medicine is a part of Lund University, and is responsible for education and research within medicine and healthcare.
