We are inviting applications for a student research assistant within the research “Tracking the Effects of Amyloid and Tau Pathology on Brain Systems and Cognition in Early Alzheimer’s Disease”.
The research project will leverage an innovative approach – utilizing state-of-the-art neuroimaging techniques at 7T and in-lab as well as remote behavioural memory assessments – to examine how functional brain systems that are critically involved in episodic memory change in early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
Work duties
The applicant will assist in scientific data acquisition. This includes assistance during ultrahigh-field MRI scanning, handling of research participants and patients as well as neuropsychological assessments. In addition, the applicant will assist in behavioural and imaging data pre-processing and quality assessments.
