The Department of Business Administration at Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) wishes to recruit a Post-Doctoral fellow (fixed term, 2 years).
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher whose research interests lie in the specialization, digitalization of performance measurement and management, with special emphasis on how new opportunities related to e.g. data collection, analysis, visualization of data and feedback influence strategy implementation and innovation capacity.
Possible research topics include but are not limited to the impact of technological change on performance measurement, visualization of data that improve decision-making, learning and innovation, digitally supported audit & feedback models that increase motivation and performance, incentive schemes based on gamification as well as ethical and strategic aspects of “measure mania” and possibilities of increased social control. Possible use of methods include but are not limited to lab and field experiments.
Work tasks
The position provides time for independent work as well as possible collaboration with Professor Anders Anell whose research interest is in digitalization of performance measurement and management in health care. Teaching may be added up to maximum 20% of the working time; typically, no teaching is expected during the first year of appointment.

Basis of assessment
Research skills and academic promise will be the main selection criteria. The ability to conduct research independently and to participate in research collaborations are very important considerations. The successful candidate is expected to balance rigor and relevance, aiming to produce papers for highly ranked academic journals while also informing policy and practice through other contributions. The successful candidate is expected to work full time in Lund for the duration of the position.
