About the research group
At the Center for Primary Health Care Research (CPF), research is conducted in a number of research areas that are of great importance for primary care patients and the health care system, e.g. cardiovascular disease, geriatrics and prevention/public health. CPF is a multi-professional research centre and rests organisationally on two principals; Lund University and Region Skåne, but is also funded by external research funds. CPF is located at the Clinical Research Center (CRC) in Malmö.

The applicant is invited to apply for the post of doctoral student leading to a licentiate degree (120) higher education credits corresponding to 2 years full-time or 4 years part-time). Estimated start: January 2022.

Work tasks
The dissertation is planned as a combined thesis and contains two parts. The employment includes work with data collection, analysis of data and compilation of reports. Within the scope of the employment, there is also the implementation of research education courses and participation in research seminars.

Eligibility
Students with basic eligibility for third-cycle studies are those who- have completed a second-cycle degree- have completed courses of at least 240 credits, of which at least 60 credits are from second-cycle courses, or- have acquired largely equivalent knowledge in some other way, in Sweden or abroad.

Other qualifications
The employment requires:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Primary Health Care (MSc).
  • Work experience from paediatric health care.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The tasks require you to take personal initiative and responsibility for your research and constantly develop your ability and knowledge to drive the project forward.

Qualifications for the employment are:

  • Experience of teaching at college/university, especially within specialist nursing education that focuses on district nursing or paediatric nursing.

Assessment basis
The employment of doctoral students is regulated in the Swedish Code of Statues 1998: 80. Only those who are or have been admitted to PhD-studies may be appointed to doctoral studentships. When an appointment to a doctoral studentship is made, the ability of the student to benefit from PhD-studies shall primarily be taken into account. In addition to devoting themselves to their studies, those appointed to doctoral studentships may be required to work with educational tasks, research and administration, in accordance with specific regulations in the ordinance.
