You will work at the Department of Electrical and Information Technology, mainly within the Division of Secure and Networked Systems (SecNet). SecNet has several research projects based on software and cloud systems, often including testbeds. The research at SecNet is often in collaboration with industry.
You will mainly work with development and maintenance of software and cloud infrastructures with applications for both research and undergraduate education. The first years, a large majority of the work will be focused on development of a testbed for edge computing over 5G, financed by an ELLIIT infrastructure grant. Later, the work can be focused on a cloud infrastructure for 6G. Other work duties can be to develop software and cloud infrastructures for labs within the undergraduate education. There will be possibilities to directly participate in research projects and be involved in teaching in undergraduate courses. Your work duties may change over time.
