The division for Real Estate Science conducts research and education in the subjects of Real Estate Law and Real Estate Economics. A total of around 20 people work in the division, distributed among senior lecturers, lecturers, postdocs, doctoral students and administrative staff. The division has its offices in “E-huset” on LTH's campus in Lund and its organizational headquarters in the Department of Technology and Society. The division is now starting a research project on alternative forms of financing for infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure. For the implementation of this project, the department now needs to recruit a Researcher who will participate in the work on a part-time basis for one year. The work will be carried out independently but also in close collaboration with some of the division’s tenured researchers.
The person will work within one of the division's research projects. The project "Alternative financing and organization of the transport infrastructure within current regulations" is about analyzing the conditions for the Swedish Transport Administration to use alternative financing methods for investments in transport infrastructure.
The Swedish Transport Administration continuously needs to have a good knowledge of the development of the area of alternatives and innovative financing and organization of the transport infrastructure in order to be able to effectively achieve the goals of the transport policy. The discussion about alternative financing of the transport infrastructure often takes its starting point from solutions that are applied in other countries and/or sectors, but which can be applied to a limited extent by the Swedish Transport Administration. At the same time, there are relatively extensive unexplored opportunities to utilize the current regulatory scope for alternative financing and organization in the transport infrastructure. There is a lack of knowledge here, which partly has its basis in the fact that several of the issues are very complex in nature .
This project aims to collect and analyze current research from Sweden and other comparable countries on how alternative financing and organization can be arranged in order to maintain and develop the Swedish Transport Administration's area knowledge. The project will also collect experiences from actors who have worked concretely with alternative financing and organization of infrastructure.
The person we are looking for will independently and in collaboration with researchers in the division of Real Estate Science carry out the activities required for the implementation of the project. Among these can be mentioned:
In addition to the work of developing new knowledge and writing reports, the person will assist as project manager and represent the project and the division of Real Estate Science vis-à-vis the Swedish Transport Administration, which i.a. includes oral and written presentations during the duration of the project and it is therefore important that the person has very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, oral and written.

Additional requirements:
