Job duties
We are looking for several amanuenses who will support the department's administrative work regarding the education at undergraduate and advanced level. Today, the administrative consists of four education coordinators and one education administrator. Our new amanuenses will primarily work with supporting the education coordinators with administration during the admission period.

There may also be other administrative tasks such as:
Work in the student office, such as email and phone handling, distribution of exams and submissions, ordering light refreshments, room booking and more
Work in administrative systems, e.g. Ladok, UBAS and Canvas
Administration of course evaluations
Administrative support to other personnel within the administration
Other administration and archiving

Qualifications
According to chapter 5 § 10 HF, a requirement to be employed as an amanuens is that you have been admitted to studies at undergraduate or advanced level. In order to be employed as an amanuens, the applicant must be admitted to education at the first or advanced level at the department of human geography. Furthermore, it is highly meritorious if you have experience in study administrative work.

The work requires that you can independently structure, plan and manage educational administrative matters and systems, as well as have the ability to communicate well and work closely with other colleagues in the administration. The role suits you who is proactive, solution-oriented and flexible, thrives with great variety between routine tasks and more intensive periods and has a high degree of sense of service.

The work also requires a good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in English, as well as very good computer skills and good knowledge of Excel.

The working hours may vary, and we therefore see it as an advantage if you are flexible and can adapt the hours to the institution's needs.

This is a temporary employment during the period 240201-240331 with a scope of 20%.
